This Return Policy outlines the terms and conditions for cancellations, refunds, and returns applicable to session offers and physical activity services purchased from Lifehip, operating the Daily Movement studio at Pieter Braaijweg 203, 1114 AJ Amsterdam, Netherlands. We are committed to fair and transparent policies that comply with Netherlands consumer protection law, including the Dutch Civil Code (Burgerlijk Wetboek) and EU Consumer Rights Directive (2011/83/EU) where applicable. Please read this policy carefully before purchasing any session offer.
1. Scope of This Policy
This Return Policy applies to all session offers sold by Lifehip, including but not limited to the Foundation Flow Pass (€49 per month), Group Movement Bundle (€95 for ten sessions), Personal Mobility Coaching (€72 per session), and trial sessions (€15 where offered). It covers purchases made through our website lifehip.world, in person at our Amsterdam studio, or by telephone. Physical merchandise, if offered in the future, will be subject to separate return conditions communicated at the time of purchase.
2. Right of Withdrawal for Online Purchases
If you purchase a session offer online without having visited our studio or attended a trial session, you may have a fourteen-day right of withdrawal under EU consumer law, starting from the day of purchase. However, if you request that services begin within the withdrawal period and expressly consent to commencement before the period expires, you acknowledge that your right of withdrawal may be partially or fully lost once the service has been fully performed. For session packages where you have attended one or more sessions within the withdrawal period, a proportionate amount reflecting the value of services already consumed will be deducted from any refund. 3. Foundation Flow Pass Cancellation and Refunds
The Foundation Flow Pass is a recurring monthly membership providing unlimited access to all scheduled Morning Flow and Weekend Reset group sessions, up to 8 sessions per week. The following terms apply:
- Monthly passes renew automatically on the same date each month unless cancelled with at least seven days notice before the next billing date.
- You may cancel your Foundation Flow Pass at any time by submitting a cancellation request through our contact form or in person at the studio. Cancellation takes effect at the end of the current billing period.
- No partial refunds are provided for unused days within a billing period after the pass has been activated and sessions have been available to you.
- If you cancel within the first seven days of your initial purchase and have not attended any sessions, you are entitled to a full refund of the first month's payment.
- Pass holders may pause their membership once per calendar year for up to four weeks with at least fourteen days advance notice. During the pause period, billing is suspended and no sessions may be attended.
- Refunds for billing errors or duplicate charges will be processed within fourteen business days of verification.
4. Group Movement Bundle Refunds
The Group Movement Bundle provides ten session credits valid for ninety days from the date of purchase. The following terms apply:
- Unused session credits may be refunded within fourteen days of purchase if no sessions have been attended, minus an administrative fee of €5.
- After attending one or more sessions, refunds are calculated on a pro-rata basis: the per-session value (€9.50) is deducted for each session used, and the remaining balance is refunded.
- Expired session credits that were not used within the ninety-day validity period are non-refundable.
- Session credits may be transferred to one other person one time during the validity period, subject to registration of the transferee at our studio.
- If Lifehip cancels a session you were booked into, a replacement credit will be added to your bundle at no additional charge.
5. Personal Mobility Coaching Cancellations
Personal Mobility Coaching sessions are booked individually at €72 per session. The following cancellation and refund terms apply:
- Cancellations made at least twenty-four hours before the scheduled session time are eligible for a full refund or rescheduling at no charge.
- Cancellations made between twelve and twenty-four hours before the session may be rescheduled once or refunded at fifty percent of the session fee.
- Cancellations made less than twelve hours before the session or no-shows are non-refundable and non-transferable.
- If your assigned coach is unavailable and no substitute can be arranged, you will receive a full refund or priority rescheduling.
- Multi-session coaching packages, if purchased, follow the same per-session cancellation terms applied to each scheduled session within the package.
6. Trial Session Policy
First-time trial group sessions, where offered at €15, are non-refundable once attended. If you cancel a booked trial session at least twelve hours in advance, you may reschedule to another available date or receive a full refund of the trial fee. Trial session fees may be credited toward the purchase of a Group Movement Bundle or Foundation Flow Pass if purchased within seven days of the trial session.
7. Studio-Initiated Cancellations
If Lifehip cancels a session due to coach unavailability, studio maintenance, extreme weather conditions affecting safe access to our Amsterdam location, or other circumstances beyond our control, affected members will be notified as soon as possible via email or telephone. In such cases, you will be offered the choice of rescheduling to an alternative date, receiving a session credit, or obtaining a full refund for the affected session. We are not liable for incidental costs such as travel expenses arising from studio-initiated cancellations.
8. Refund Processing
Approved refunds will be processed within fourteen business days of approval using the original payment method where possible. If the original payment method is unavailable, an alternative refund method such as bank transfer will be arranged. Refund amounts will be credited in euros. You will receive email confirmation when your refund has been initiated. Please allow additional time for your bank or payment provider to reflect the refund in your account. For iDEAL payments, refunds are processed to the originating bank account. For credit card payments, refunds appear on your statement within five to ten business days depending on your card issuer.
9. Non-Refundable Items and Circumstances
The following are non-refundable under all circumstances:
- Session credits or membership time that has expired according to the terms of the purchased offer.
- Sessions forfeited due to late cancellation or no-show as defined in Sections 4 and 5.
- Memberships or packages terminated due to violation of our Terms of Use, including disruptive behaviour or safety violations at the studio.
- Administrative fees explicitly stated at the time of purchase.
- Services that have been fully delivered and consumed within the agreed terms.
10. Disputes and Complaints
If you are dissatisfied with a refund decision or believe you are entitled to a return not covered by this policy, please contact us within thirty days of the relevant purchase or session date. We will review your case and respond within ten business days. If we cannot resolve your complaint satisfactorily, you may refer the matter to the Geschillencommissie or seek resolution through the courts of Amsterdam, Netherlands. EU consumers may also use the European Commission Online Dispute Resolution platform.
11. Changes to This Return Policy
Lifehip reserves the right to update this Return Policy to reflect changes in our session offers, legal requirements, or business practices. Changes will be posted on this page with an updated date. Changes will not affect purchases made before the effective date of the updated policy. For active memberships, material changes will be communicated at least thirty days in advance.
